Safari Vehicle Configuration

  • • Custom-built 4x4 safari Land Cruiser or safari van (based on availability & client preference)
  • • Pop-up roof for game viewing & photography
  • • Guaranteed window seat for all passengers
  • • VHF radio communication & charging ports (where available)

Package Inclusions

  • • Return airport transfers in Nairobi
  • • Private transport in a safari 4x4 vehicle
  • • Full board accommodation while on safari
  • • Daily park entry fees, where applicable
  • • Bottled mineral water in safari vehicle
  • • Services of English-speaking driver guide (multilingual on request)
  • • 2 game drives per day or full-day game viewing
  • • Emergency medical evacuation by flying doctors (hospital bills payable by client directly)
  • • Festive season supplements (where applicable)

Package Exclusions

  • • International or domestic flight costs (unless specified)
  • • Visa charges
  • • Tips, gratuities & porterage
  • • Laundry and personal expenses (drinks, extra meals, telephone calls, etc.)
  • • Personal travel insurance (medical, baggage, cancellation or interruption cover)

Important Notes (Optional Extras on Request)

  • • City night(s) for safaris starting/ending in Nairobi and/or Mombasa
  • • Cross-border safaris to Tanzania via Namanga to Arusha or via Isebania to Serengeti
  • • From Lake Nakuru: day trips to Lake Bogoria or Lake Baringo
  • • From Lake Naivasha / Elementaita: boat rides, Crescent Island, Hell's Gate National Park, flower farms, wine tasting at Leleshwa Wines
  • • Beach extensions to Kenya coast or Zanzibar

General Booking Terms & Conditions

  • • All quotations are net / non-commissionable and inclusive of statutory taxes/levies
  • • Upon confirmation, invoice is issued and payment is required immediately to secure booking
  • • Maurijet Holidays is not liable for services/excursions not booked through our office
  • • Cash payments: USD notes older than 2017 not accepted; USD 2 bills not accepted
  • • Bank transfers incur USD 35 international bank charges
  • • Departures are strictly based on confirmed scheduled dates

Cancellation Policy

All safari accommodation and services

  • • 60 days and above: No cancellation charges
  • • 59 – 36 days: 45% cancellation fee
  • • 35 – 16 days: 75% cancellation fee
  • • 15 days and below: 100% cancellation fee
  • • No refund for unused safari/tour portions
  • • Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Maurijet Holidays and are effective upon receipt
